Welcome to Ms. Waddell's home page; this will also serve as the Gonzales High School library home page. My name is Eve Waddell; I am a graduate of the GHS class of 1987. I received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas in 1991 and a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Texas in 2012. I have been the librarian at GHS and GJH since August 2011. In addition to serving as district librarian, I am the coordinator of the GHS PALs program for the 2015-2016 school year and the National Honor Society sponsor . In PALs (Peer Assistance and Leadership), we have a great group of 26 upperclassmen who mentor and support GISD elementary students throughout the school year. We travel to each elementary campus one day per week, spending about 30 minutes in classrooms working with individual students and small groups. The GHS National Honor Society program has 45 members this year; they are seniors who have met high standards of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character. Members meet once a month and plan service projects to benefit the school and the Gonzales community. Please visit our NHS page for more information.
